Am this close to heaven
but am leaving another behind
Why must we face these times
Just another day I ask
Much to touch,so much to feel
A lifetime of misses
Just one day to make up for all
Cannot i have just another more
My last sight of her to savour
stored in my head for eternity
How can heaven be a better place
when the angel is right here
They wait for me to come back
but going i was far away
The light at the end of the road
is shining brighter than ever
Why couldnt i see this coming?
Why was i so blind?
Just another day is all i seek
to undo all that was done
Standing at the gates
I realize that life can be so short
Savour every day while you can
You never know when you'll need another

Reminiscing that 'one day' for the rest of one's life, is not so good but to write a poem and make sure others don't do the same is gr8 wrk!!! :)
